I’m a writer, currently a support worker, a mum of two, married to Jesus (no, I really am, except we call him Jay and he’s from El Salvador, not Israel!), daughter, friend and owner of / servant to a very fluffy cat!

I feel closest to Jesus with a pen in my hand and love to write about the treasures He reveals in His Word and His world. My career path has been a hotch potch journey of different roles as I have tried to follow God’s leading. My faith has waxed and waned and my focus has come and gone, but throughout it all, He has been my constant, faithful at every step and His kindness has drawn me back time and time again. 

I have discovered that His rest for my soul is what I need more than ever in a turbulent world, and that sometimes I need reminders of what our hope really is and why it does actually change everything. Since turning more to Him for my help and hope, looking up if you like, I have found that things – situations, my perspective, my hope for the future, has also started looking up.
